Hood films movies that has poor inhabitants of the ghetto grew to know and love. Some say these movies are bad influence on the youth, others say this is simply art imitating life. I hope you’re smart enough to know the difference. Plenty of these Urban films come from great literary works. Because I am from Detroit the Motor City in b I would be remiss to not mention a movie called Never Die Alone starring the homeboy DMX based on a story bye Detroit author Donald Goines.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. I tried my hand at Film Production at a very young age. Below you will find a link to a very crummy independent movie I produced. The Ghost of the alien Weed Head. This was a no-budget movie that was shot and edited on the Fly pretty much completely freestyle with no script just a slapstick Urban comedy me and a bunch of my friends from the neighborhood decided to put together.
