Detroit Hip Hop Artist Perform at The Old Miami
The Old
Miami is a Veterans Cass Corridor in Detroit Michigan
My name is Joquan Da Hooligan. I am a detroit-based
hip hop recording artist.
This is a Blog that I put together to Showcase some of the great local
hip-hop at the old Miami veterans bar in the city of Detroit.
When a lot
of 313 emcees think about good open mic cyphers, beat showcases and on
stage performance venues it is a difficult task to not consider The Old
Miami veterans bar in Cass Corridor. It was first brought to my
attention by the good people over at 5E gallery. Piper Carter and DJ

nights a night to remember.
Supa Emcee, Valid 313, Slaughter and Konflict just a few of the Detroit
hip hop artist you would see every week at the old Miami. I would make
it a weekly event and show up with my homie Troub Ill just to get a
chance to rock the mic with such legendary artist from our area. The
Old Miami is still active today, many decent event go down every month.
I am not as knowledgeable about the local performance seen as I use to
be, but I always hear of events happening at the Cass Corridor veterans
bar. Even if I don’t speak for all hip hop artist in Detroit I would
like to express gratitude for the good folks at 3930 Cass avenue
for giving us a chance to be heard.
Supa Emcee is a Detroit Hip Hop Legend he has
been rocking the local Open Mic scene since the late 90s
well known for rocking spots like The Ebony Showcase Cafe Mahogany Lush
Lounge and of course the
