Selling CD’s on the southwest side in Detroit in both the black and Mexican areas
Southwest Detroit one of my favorite neighborhood in the entire city. I was introduced to that area of town at the young age of 11 maybe even earlier than that. In fact yes earlier than that my father drove the Livernois bus, we would always stop at the Burger King on Livernois and Vernor to grab something to eat. That is if his route wasn’t too busy, when I was 11 years old my father took me to the Howard B Bloomer Boys & Girls Club on Livernois and Michigan Avenue right next to the old Motel it’s a gas station now. One true fact about Detroit is this there is no prouder detroiter than a Southwest Detroit
