Studio Recording Session with Geno XO
Cooking up some heat in the vocal booth engineered by the homie Geno XO
In this video the homie Geeunites set me up a recording session to drop some vocals over a Beat produced by the homie Nosaj The Hyper. We book studio time for this session with Geno XO I also got a chance to kick it with the homies Hostile and Kenny Mac. Geno XO is a producer/engineer who has been and business working with artist across the Wayne County area that I know personally for at least 15 years I first found out about Geno listening to One of DJ Butters old mixtapes I don’t remember the name but it was the one right before Shit Happens you understand if you know the DJ Butter catalog. And speak of the devil DJ Butter gave me the shirt that I’m wearing in this video.
The song that I wrote to this beat is titled White Lotus a few days ago as of September 19th that is the homie Geeunites sent me a Beat and informed me did he intend to get a video shot to whatever I put together to the beat. So I went to Rouge Park got some weed from my cousin Raymond and went to work. I must admit that I did not intend to complete this song as quickly as I did the lyrics Just Came to Me normally it takes me about 45 days to do a full song I had this song written and recorded 32 hours after receiving the beat. Next time I will take more time at least two practice my delivery before I get in the booth to record the vocals I’m not sure what we’re going to do with this song White Lotus so stay tuned.
